HTL URBANO, Buenos Aires – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel had large and spacious rooms, but they were very tired. The service was friendly, although not always efficient. The location was convenient for exploring Buenos Aires. The dining options were satisfactory. The facilities were adequate but nothing extraordinary.

The hotel had some drawbacks, such as dripping condensation water in the room all night long and very small room size without basic amenities like a coffee maker or iron. The air conditioning was not effective, and the rooms needed a makeover. On the positive side, the service was excellent with helpful staff fluent in English and Spanish. The location was convenient, close to key attractions in town, though some rooms were noisy and outdated. The dining experience ranged from basic and tasteless to good with a variety of buffet options.

The hotel was uncomfortably hot, especially near a room with noisy hot water machines that disturbed our sleep. The lack of working air conditioning made the stay unpleasant. However, the kind service and fast check-in process were positives.

The hotel is conveniently located near many attractions like Calle Florida, San Martin Plaza, Plaza de Mayo, and Porto Madero, making it a great spot to explore the city. The room setup, although not as expected from the pictures, felt like a small apartment with some inconveniences like a leaky wall-mounted TV. The service from the front desk was cheerful and helpful, although there were unexpected fees for luggage storage. The dining options provided a variety of buffet choices, but the coffee quality was not up to par. Overall, a quiet and well-located option with room for improvement in some areas.
